Surface Preparation
Old Concrete
Clean by shot blasting, sand blasting, or diamond grinding. Remove all oils, sealers, waxes, and contaminants. Acid etching and thorough rinsing may be necessary to open pores. Ensure the surface is dry and free from moisture, with chloride, pH, and humidity levels tested before application.
New Concrete
Allow to cure for at least 30 days. Concrete must achieve ≥25 MPa (3625 psi) compressive strength and ≥1.5 MPa (218 psi) tensile strength. Surface preparation with abrasive methods is required. Use primer to prevent outgassing.
Mixing Instructions
  • Precondition material to at least 15°C (59°F).
  • Mix Part A and Part B at a 2:1 volume ratio.
  • Mix for 3 minutes at 300–450 RPM, scraping sides and bottom.
  • Use only the amount that can be applied within pot life.
Application
Apply using a trowel or putty knife over prepared substrate.
Cleaning
Clean tools with epoxy-compatible cleaner/thinner. Wash skin with warm, soapy water. Once cured, product can only be removed mechanically.
Restrictions
  • Application temperature: 15°C–30°C (59°F–86°F)
  • Max relative humidity: 85%
  • Substrate moisture content: <4%
  • Substrate must be 3°C above dew point
  • Avoid exterior use on ground-level substrates
  • Protect from moisture and condensation for 24 hours
  • Product may discolor with UV exposure
Health & Safety
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use PPE (gloves, safety glasses, respirator). Work in a well-ventilated area. Refer to SDS for full safety instructions.
