IC-220 G, S & M
Water-Based Polyurethane Coating System

IC-220 G, S, M is a two-component, water-based polyurethane coating system available in gloss, satin, and matte finishes. It is designed to protect and enhance various surfaces, including concrete and polymer materials, while offering excellent UV, chemical, and abrasion resistance. Approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
ADVANTAGES
  • Very low VOC content: <10 g/L
  • Fast drying & early water resistance
  • Long pot life
  • Excellent adhesion to various substrates
  • Superior UV and chemical resistance
  • Outstanding visual appearance (Gloss / Satin / Matte)

Surface Preparation & Application
  • Surface must be clean, dry, and properly profiled (ICRI-CSP 3–4).
  • Mechanically prepare surfaces via shot blasting or diamond grinding.
  • Mix each component separately (2 mins), then combine A + B (3 mins @ 300–450 rpm).
  • Apply using a rubber rake and back-roll with roller. Avoid puddling.
Cleaning
  • Clean tools immediately with soapy water followed by solvent rinse.
  • Once cured, the product can only be removed mechanically.
Restrictions
  • Application temp: 15–30°C (59–86°F)
  • Max relative humidity: 80%
  • Substrate moisture content must be <4%
  • Avoid use on porous or ground-level outdoor substrates
  • Protect from moisture during first 24 hours
  • May discolor with prolonged UV exposure
Health & Safety
  • Avoid skin and eye contact.
  • Use NIOSH/MSHA-approved organic vapor respirator.
  • Wear gloves and safety goggles.
  • Refer to SDS before use.
