Surface Preparation
Surface must first be coated and sealed with SCI-100 or SCI-300-8084 prior to applying SCI-300-8050.
Mixing

Step

Instruction

1

Pour all of Part B into Part A

2

Mix 2–3 minutes at 300–450 RPM

3

Gradually add Part C (aluminum oxide)

4

Mix until aggregate is evenly dispersed

Important:
Scrape container sides and bottom at least once during mixing. Ensure all Part B is fully added to avoid incomplete curing.
Application
Apply using a dip-and-roll method with roller and pan:
  • 18" roller
  • 10 mm lint-free nap
  • Load roller from pan
  • Redistribute aggregate before application
  • Apply at 4–6 mils
  • Maintain wet edge
  • Avoid overworking material
Cleaning
Clean tools with Xylene. Once cured, material must be removed mechanically.
Restrictions
  • Substrate moisture ≤4%
  • Substrate must be ≥3°C above dew point
  • Avoid condensation
  • Do not add solvent or water
  • Apply in ventilated area
  • Protect from moisture during first 24 hours
Health & Safety
Use PPE (gloves, goggles, respirator). Avoid skin/eye contact and vapor inhalation. Work in a well-ventilated area. Refer to SDS.
